properly not as got a pond and a tropical tank but then again rob might start going on about how lonely the other fish is as in a tank on its own
i have said no more pets once they go i will not get no more
but then again i said that when we had our greyhound put down no more dogs and yes we did get another one but i am going to stick to my word this time :)

I was thinking back to that fateful day in 2001 when those planes flew into the Twin Towers. I remember shopping with my friend Sue and coming home with her for a coffee. Her husband was home and he was watching tv and I asked him what film he was watching. He said "this is no film, this is happening now" and I just went cold. I'll never forget that feeling. I'll never understand the madness that causes these atrocities to happen even though I try to. Some things are just beyond comprehension

i can remember that day as well
i was going to my mums
before i left i saw a bit of it and thought it
was a new film
then when i got to mums she had it on and it was real
we just sat there in silence couldn't believe what we were seeing

i have had a very strange day cant get my head round it :?

Good Evening All, seeing all the 9/11 coverage
on the News tonight makes it all seem very recent.
I find it hard to believe its 5 years ago.
Such a terrible waste of life, and still soldiers are dying
60 months later....:cry:

Of course you are right, it so easy to overlook
the innocent victims of War. Women and Children
who have done nothing to provoke the Gunfire and Bombing.
Civilian casualties most have been incredibly high since the
start of the Iraq War.

don't apologise, slim. you weren't being insensitive really. it's just that with all this fuss over the WTC tragedy, people seem to have forgotten that it led directly to the war on Iraq although no one (except the Repugnants) was saying that Iraq was involved.

Bliar took us in to that war to appease Bush. Neither of them care anything about "our" men and women fighting in their bloody wars, nor about the damage they've caused with that decision

also, if they hadn't rushed in to Iraq, they could have done a proper job of ridding Afghanistan of the taliban (who the Reagan administration initially supported) rather than causing the mess it's in now.
