Hi Kerry.....we'll all come and see you when you are famous and playing at the Royal Albert Hall. :D

My mum tried to teach me the piano but she gave up because I am tone deaf!! All I could manage was Chopsticks!!

Good morning Slim, good morning everyone, hope you are all well XXX :D

It's a cool but sunny day here in Bucks...was cold in bed last night so I'll have to start thinking about getting my super-duper deluxe duvet out of mothballs and snuggle up under that again! :D

Today I am concentrating on adding more poems to my poetry site. Must get it finished this weekend cos I've been putting it off and putting it off!!!

Gave a great day everyone - looking forward to reading what you are all getting up to.

Love and Hugs

Hooray, it's Saturday, and I get to spend time with my husband. At some point I'm going to cook a huge pot of spaghetti. We might catch a movie if anything interesting is playing.

He just got Poser, and I'm daring myself to try playing with that. It looks complicated but I don't know since I haven't tried messing with it.

Good for you Kerry, learning the guitar. Do you have any songs in mind that you're dying to learn to play? Do you have any guitar idols?

And good for you, Blueangel, for your poetry. It's not my favorite medium... somehow it seems too personal, like I shouldn't be reading it. Except haikus. Have you read Slimboydim's? I've colorized an quoted a couple of them on my blog. I think they're really neat.

Hope you all have a great weekend! :)

Hi jjpet....I love Slim's haiku....he and I used to play a little game where one of us would give a subject and we would have a certain amount of time in which to complete a haiku about that subject. It was interesting to see what we both came out with. Hey Slim.....let's do that again sometime!!!

Hey Blueangel and Slim... doesn't that game sound like a good idea for a topic? Someone leaves a subject in a post, and others answer with haikus about the subject in replies.

What do you think?

i will give it a whirl and see how it goes :)
i tried to practice today what i was taught last night (this morning)
but my thumb is sore :(
i have found a man called jack Johnson he is pretty good well some of his songs are i like country music which i grew up with.
my dad used to play guitar and we used to have a Sunday afternoon sing song if it was raining so i wouldnt mind trying to learn some of them so i can play them to my son :)
my dad never taught me to play but he did the keyboard so i thought when i get better i will surprise him as long as my son dont blab

today i am doing well let me think....
dont know my partner has took my son
out so here i am on my own again
