Poe!!!! Love it!!!

Here's mine....not quite how I planned but here you are!!!

TROUBLEMAKER

Ring the doorbell, run away
Chase the cat, to Gran’s dismay
Mix the sugar up with salt
Blame someone else, “It’s not MY fault!”
Steal some apples from the tree
Pull my braids then squeal with glee.

Now you’re grown, no more a child
Your ways have changed, you don’t run wild
You still are Gran’s own blue-eyed boy
You light her smile, she’s filled with joy
There’s one thing, though, from days gone by
That lingers still, but I know why

Just like those apples from the tree
You stole my heart, you hold the key
And still your blue-eyes twinkle on
Through winter’s snow and summers sun (will I get away with that?)
I’ve long forgiven you the crime
My heart is yours, so ends this rhyme.

I love your writing, it's such a contrast to my styles and so is like a breath of fresh air to read.......
