patacake, I share you pain with the insomnia, mine started when I was a young girl, migraines started after that (yeah, they're tied together, go figure! lol - doctors, sometimes I wonder!!)
Wend, sailing sounds so nice! Can you post a pic of the Firefly? Would love to see it.
Kerry , happy camping! I am so jealous! Would love to go camping.
Slim, a daze? no comment. Nah, just teasing....
Today Chuck came back to work after 3 weeks in Spain so it was pretty much a gossip rehash
I did have to warn him about Mark though. Between Ali and myself, something's about to explode, or rather some one.
At least she's on vacation all of next week. mine's coming up soon woooohhhh whhooooooo, can't wait. So mom is bugging me, what do we want to eat, what are we planning on doing? When am I leaving Florida, am I driving straight thru and so on. I know she's excited. i wish they could come down here, but with Johnny's health, that's not going to happen.
I am flashing in and out of my writer's block, becoming rather irritating, actually. When I write it feels so good.
Thank God it's Friday and I am off the weekend.

Tonight, I am going on a course with two of my work friends. It is about entertaining 2 year olds with songs!! As if I didn't know how to do that atfter 20 odd years in the profession But...we have to keep updated apparently.
We'll be singing "Baa Baa Green Sheep" because black sheep and white sheep are racist!!! and..."Peter Put The Kettle On" because if we had just "Polly" that would be sexist....oh the list goes on!!!

Ok...I take it all back......I learnt SO much last night AND had great fun whilst doing it!!
We played with chiffon scarves, sheets, rhythm sticks, teddy bears...we played trains..shook hands with total strangers...
Two hours well spent!

i have just had so much fun we all went for a walk along the sea front tonight after I had finished work was nice but chilly rob took
his scooter with him we got fred to pull him it was so funny then
along the sea front i decided to have a go on his scooter 
not been one for about more than twenty years
it was so much fun I got some funny looks though one couple just stood there laughing, there was me in my work uniform on this scooter
but hay it aint half good exercise my stomach muscles now hurt |

went to the air show today was ok I get fed up going but rob loves it.
they had the sea speed boats there.
they have a big race this weekend which will be on channel itv4 later on in the year.
Doubt if we will go and watch them though fed up with the beach now and I am a bit burnt!  |

I GOT MY PIETENDIPLOMA TODAY!
THAT MEANS I'M NOW A CERTIFIED HULPPIETEN TO SINTERKLAAS
This is Sinterklaas with the most important Pieten
Hoofdpiet (head peter) in burgundy and red
Huispiet (house peter - he runs the piethuis where they all live) in red and green
Piet Precies (peter precise) in purple...
behind them is the Stoomboot (steamboat) which is this years Pakjeboot (boat with presents aboard) and all the Pieten unloading the cadeautjes (presents)
I get to wear a feather in my cap too |
