....you CAN'T have your sun back cos I don't have it!!!! Honestly!! Shocked

Um..Thursday today and Brownies tonight...we are practising Christmas Carol and making Christmas Cards both of which I'm in charge of so watch out!!!

God, it's Thursday, think I'm going to go out to dinner tonight have drink! A strong one at that!

Sally have fun at Brownies. The boys both have science projects to do that are due..... Monday, of course! They are my children that's for sure.. Procrastinators, all of us! But at least Alex has decided to be human again and not perch up on the walls. When I told Mom, she laughed and said it was cute.. not if he did that at "Her" house..... it wouldn't be so funny. But I believe in letting kids be kids...

Oh no, you're not tricking me like that. It's 80 degrees already. You call that cold?!?! Maybe in Hades, but not here! I had to turn the fan on to cool the apartment down a bit (I refuse to turn my air conditioner back on!)....

I took Gryphon for a nice long walk this morning, felt good. He was weirded out because we went past our usual walk so he was in unfamiliar territory and walked with his nose to the ground all the way down and back... Funny dog.

I think I'm going to go do a bit of shopping this morning and start w/ the boys treats. I'm going to do small stuff today, I think, since I only have a short amount of time to go out before work.

It's f-f-f-f-freezing this morning, but no frost funnily enough! The stars were shining brightly when I first went out this morning...a beautiful sight.

I bet Gryphon enjoyed exploring new territory, Poe, I hope he got lots of lovely new smells up his nose!!!! Laughing

Did you manage to get all your shopping...we are going again this morning...the excuse is, we have found this nice little cafe in Slough which does delicious sausage sandwiches so we are heading there first.

Good Morning and Happy December...

No, shopping is barely done. Alex is proving difficult to buy for.. Nothing seems "right" for him. The other night he played for hours with nothing but the candlestick from the game Clue and this tiny figurine no bigger than the candlestick and then when he needed a break from that he took out the markers from his art set, found a marble and was bowling in the foyer!! So.... finding toys that would excite him is proving challenging! Ughhhhhhhh. Every thing I see says "Gabe's would like this!"

Today is Decorating day. In a moment I will be turning on the music, cleaning the house, going up into the attic getting down all the Xmas stuff and then putting up the tree and all that fun stuff. Kids are bugging me already!

Piddling with rain and really windy....yuk!

Brain has gone to visit his mum...Lucy is still in bed and I am sitting here typing this!!

Good morning,

Yesterday was a very busy day. Cleaned the house from top to bottom, including scrubbing the kitchen and foyer floor, boys' bathroom tub and hand washing the kitchen curtains. And I managed to get the tree put up and we decorated it yesterday afternoon. I'm putting a pic of it in my personal thread in People. Including my new valances I put up over the sliding glass door leading out to the balcony. Marvelous what a bit of color does for a room! Smile

Talked to Mom on the phone last night, she didn't seem to even remember the email, so obviously Bryan is fine and dandy or else she'd be all in a tizzy. So this is a good thing. I still feel for my brother though, right before Christmas and to total his brand new truck!! Hopefully the dumbass who cut him off will have to pay (from what I was told, it was a BMW sports car) and Bryan will get another brand new truck. He worked so hard and so long to get his dream truck... how sad... I'll have to try to get a hold of him today, too.

....I was coughing and spluttering all day yesterday and I had a feeling I was gonna come down with something...and I have....I blame the mothers that bring their children to nursery with coughs and colds ("well, he/she wanted to come!") Goddddddd!!! Mad

Anyway, I'll have to shift it before the weekend as we are going down to Devon to see my family there....can't be spreading my germs down there!

Sally, you're suppose to gargle with salt water - not soap!! That will just make you blow bubbles... Very Happy

Not looking forward to going to work today, that's sad. I'm so full of anxiety about going to work, not a good thing, will need to find a way to work that out. I just feel that I'm at the end of my tether, which sucks, because it's Christmas and I can't do a damn thing about it.

It's going to be a hot and muggy day today, highs in the mid 80's but a cold front is moving through and tonight is suppose to dip down into the 50's and maybe even the 40's whoooo hoooooo.. Hopefully it is cold on Thursday, I'm off and plan on doing some shopping.

It's gloriously cool out right now. In the high 50's and won't reach 80 today. It's going to warm back up by Thursday, of course, but that's okay. I'll deal with it Cool

Good morning....!!!

Well, I spent some of the morning in bed...but I got twitchy!!! Shocked

I feel heaps better today, didn't wake up coughing so that's something! Hopefully I've knocked it on the head!!!

Wil still be taking it easy though...don't want a relapse before the weekend! By the way, I'll be going down to Devon from Friday night through till Sunday night so won't be around online.....Will keep in touch one way or another though Wink

Cool again this morning. But it's going to warm back up by this afternoon. I know I shouldn't complain about the heat as Maine is buried under 22+ inches of snow, and mom is telling me right now that they are expecting their first snow fall today... but c'mon on already!! hehe... Cool
