Good Morning.

Still feeling bad? Ricardo went home early yesterday as he was very sick, I've never seen him so pale. Being Cuban, he's got gorgeous color and to see him pasty grayish.... Not good. Patti scrubbed down everything he touched to make sure no one else gets it! It's going around horridly over on this side of the Pond. Have you been drinking your OJ?

Today I am going out shopping for the day. Driving over to Orlando to pick up some goodies the boys had pointed out when we were over there last weekend.

Good afternoon.....I'm feeling heaps better today.....dashing around like a mad thing though, hence no Good Morning this morning!!!

We are only going away for a couple of days but I have enough stuff for a week!!!

Will be back Sunday night...traffic and weather permitting....keeping my fingers crossed for decent weather.

Well....we had a lovely time in Devon...but came back to such sad news...

Sunshine....you will be missed.

Pouring with rain today but behind the clouds there will always be Sunshine and that is how I'll think of her, brightening our days. Smile

Good Morning.

It was hard for me to keep my sorrow in yesterday while at work, I keep in mind that Sunshine is no longer in pain and suffering from the horrible fate of cancer.. She'll be in peace and ease now. My heart goes out to her husband and son. I can only imagine, and it brings tears to my eyes to think of what they are going through right now.

For me, the day holds a gorgeous sky, beautiful - tho far to warm weather and another trip out to Orlando. I have to return one of the gifts I bought for Alex as I found it 50% cheaper elsewhere! So yeah.. an hour and half drive is worth $40 in savings! LOL.. Besides, it's not all that bad.. The Florida Mall is a lovely place to shop.

The weekend was busy, so glad I'm off today, but really can't wait until the 21st. Which starts my 5 day hiatus. I finagled my time and Patti was smart enough to oblige and I got myself a little vacation over Christmas, first time ever! Whoot Whoot. I wish flying wasn't so damn expensive or I'd fly up north and visit my family. Oh well, it'll have to wait this year I'm just going to spend it relaxing with the boys Smile

Well, I better get cracking, I don't want to be too long over in Orlando. Trying to time it where I'll miss the traffic there and back.

Good morning....

It is still sinking in about our Sunshine....but...she will always be here...in our thoughts and memories...

I hope you had a good trip to Orlando....I'll be looking out for you today so we can catch up.....What we need is a little bell to ring so we'll know when we are online!!! Very Happy

It's MY day off today and we are going to the Panto tonight...Cinderella at Wycombe Swan...Brain's Mum and my Dad are going, along with Lucy, Rob and the Boysies and Lucy's friend, Sarah so it should be a great evening.

Oooops slipping........!!!

Good evening! I've just got in from going round with Santa, collecting for local charities with Round Table ......well...we finished at 8 and I went round to Belinda's where she cooked up a storm and I ate too much!

Phew!

Two more days of work then finished till the New Year.....I must admit I'm looking forward to the break.

Just think of all the Stumbling I can do!!! Wink

Good Evening...

how was the pantomine, Sally?

Orlando was nice. The day was warm but traffic was light so getting there was smooth. Got some good deals, found Alex's gift even cheaper at a toy store at the mall so that was good.

Work this week has been relatively smooth. today was actually fun. My budget is shot so far for the month so I don't know if we'll make it, especially since I will be off 5 days over the holidays and I will tell you for sure.. a lot of damage can be done if I'm not there!!

Next week is going to be busy. Gabe has a violin concert on Monday evening and Alex, as I found out today, is putting on a play where he is the lead man in the play on Wednesday!! Smile

I'm so proud of them both!! Alex and I practiced his lines last night and he knows every word!

Well, it's dinner time.......

Good morning!!!

The Pantomine was brilliant, thank you Poe....everyone had a lovely time, even Dad who had never been to one before. We were all clapped out by the end of the evening, I can tell you!!

Great news about your Boysies....I wish them all the best in their upcoming "events"...keep us posted as to how it all goes!

Just got back from taking Lucy to Heathrow Airport for her trip to Belfast with work. My alarm went off at 5!!! It's funny but when I know I have to get up early, I never sleep well!!! So I shall be nodding off this afternoon, I bet!

We went fund raising with Santa last night...collecting for local charities...my, it was cold!

No frost this morning but I did take a pic yesterday on my way to work....

Good afternoon!!!

Wellllllllllllll.... just before we got to Heathrow to pick up Lucy as her flight was due in at 5.50 p.m. my phone rang and it was Rob saying she and her friends had missed their flight through no fault of their own and the next one wasn't due in until 10 to 8!! Anyways, we carried on, bought papers and magazines and had a coffee...and her plane touched down 10 minutes earlier than predicted and we headed for one of our local Harvesters for a yummy dinner. She had a great time in Ireland but didn't take any pics Poe..sorry! Sad

....

I'm off to another Pantomime this afternoon with the Brownies in Slough.

What a hectic life I lead!!! Rolling Eyes

Forgot to log out again!!! Tsk! Shocked

Goooood morning!!!

I woke at 3 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so I watched Batman Begins!!!! I fell asleep as the credits rolled and woke again at 6 when my alarm went off then fell asleep again and then woke at 8.20....so I reckon I caught up on my sleep!!! Slightly disjointed though!!

Lovely and sunny this morning as I sit and type this...hope it stays. We have the childrens' Christmas Party this afternoon at work ( should be fun!). Brain has gone to see his mother, Lucy is still in bed and I am sitting here with cotton wool and olive oil in my ears and I can't hear a thing so I have to lip read!

What on earth are you doing setting your alarm on a SUNDAY?!?!

Cloudy, damp and windy here... A cold front is trying to move through and as Florida cold fronts too, it's bringing a lot of wind.. Strong wind. There were tornado warnings every where last night.

I was awoken this morning by pictures and crap falling off the walls everywhere! Talk about an adrenaline rush.. Nothing like waking up to the sound of CRASSSHHHHH! And thinking:

1. the christmas tree fell over (on top of Alex since he was camped out on the living room floor)

2. Somebody broke in and is trashing my home

3. Plain and simple What the HELL?!?!

Thankfully, it just turned out to be a couple things blowing off the boys dresser in their room and the message board blowing off the wall in the kitchen and all the stuff on the refrigerator blowing all over the place.

Poe...sounds like you had an "interesting" night!! Glad it was nothing TOO serious..I'd have been scared out of my boots though!!

(No I don't wear my boots in bed!)

Alarm..yes I always have my alarm set to go off at 6...it's the best time of day! Yes, I know, I'm Doolally!

A whole day to myself today...lovely...I am supposed to tidying my bedroom but I'm Flickring instead while I drink my Cappuucchhiinno and eat choccy biccies. I WILL get back to it in a minute!

Wow, it's actually cold down here. And when I say cold, I mean winter cold! It's 41 degrees with a windchill feel of 34 degrees!! That's my kind of cold! I was half expecting frost on the ground. Maybe tomorrow if it stays like this there will be! Refreshing! I love it.......
I hope it's like this on Wednesday and Friday when I'm off. And next weekend and for Christmas too!

Gabe's violin concert is tonight. He looks so sharp in his outfit.. I'll be taking pics and posting them later on.
